Ralph Nelson Cole Texas entered into rest on May 19, 2012 at the age of 86. He was born on June 6, 1925 in San Antonio, Tx and was baptized in the San Antonio River. He grew up in San Antonio and Ingleside and attended Brackenridge High School. Ralph served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and was an amateur radio operator since the 1950īs. His call sign was W5THU and he belonged to various radio clubs.

He was employed with ADT for over 30 years and was active with the Good Sam Bluebonnet Chapter and Friends International.

Ralph was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Inez Gillett Cole; Parents, Gretson Brown and Cora Ellen Cole; Siblings, Cooper Watson Cole, Tina Bee Cole, Woodrow Wilson Cole, Charles Cole, and Mel Cole. Survivors include daughter, Linda Cole Huston and husband Craig; grandson, Steve Nixon; one living sibling, Ewell Cole and his wife Rose of Carmel,CA; nephew, Wade Hudson and wife Nancy; and numerous family and friends.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, May 24, 2012, from 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, Tx, 78218. A Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 25, 2012 at 12 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park. To offer condolences or share memories of Ralph go to
