Millard J. Martin, 83, passed away Saturday, July 11, 2015, at York Hospital. He was the husband of Juanita M. (Sleeth) Martin of York, with whom he celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary on November 22, 2014. Millard and Juanita spent many winters at the Rainbow Resort, Frost Proof, Fla. Mr. Martin was born in Bloomingdale, Ohio, on February 4, 1932, son of the late Millard F. and Josephine C. (Hawotte) Martin.

He served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy. Millard was employed as a general foreman of inspection at Caterpillar Inc., retiring after 43 years of service. Memberships include Ham Radio Club, Stoverstown Flyers, and Shiloh American Legion Post 791. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Lisa M. Cullhane and her husband, Bill of Manchester; two sons, Rodney J. Martin of North York, and Todd A. Martin and his wife, Malea of York; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

There will be a visitation 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 16, 2015, at the LeRoy R. Leber Funeral Home, Inc., 2290 School St., York (Shiloh), PA. There will be a memorial service at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Officiating will be the Rev. Kathy Swords of Shiloh Evangelical Lutheran Church. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. At the family's request, memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society , 924-N Colonial Ave., York, PA 17403.
