William F. Windhorst Jr., 81, a resident since 1986 of Stanwood, Michigan, formerly of Fraser, Michigan, a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, an experimental model maker for many years at the tech center of General Motors before his retirement in 1985, died suddenly at Spectrum Health Care Facility in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on the morning of Saturday, May 10, 2003. Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, May 13, 2003, 1-9 p.m., at Faulmann & Walsh Golden Rule Funeral Home, 32814 Utica Road, Fraser. Further visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, May 14, 10-11 a.m., at St. John Lutheran Church of Fraser. Services are scheduled for Wednesday, 11 a.m., at the church, officiated by the Rev. John Merrill. A luncheon will take place following services at the church's Rutkowsky Hall. Committal services will take place on Wednesday, 2:30 p.m., at Glen Eden Cemetery, Livonia, Michigan. Arrangements entrusted to Faulmann & Walsh Golden Rule Funeral Home, Fraser, Michigan.
