1934-2013
Frances Louise Hinton, of Log Cabin, went to be with the Lord on January 1, 2013 at the age of 78. Frances was born on March 6, 1934 in Jasper, GA to parents Charlie and Ollie Mae Carpenter. Frances cherished her children, was very active in her community and loved animals. She liked to cook, work in her garden and was a people person. She was a long time city councilwoman of Log Cabin; she started the Log Cabin Crime Watch and Seniors Group. She loved to organize, enter and often won Chili Cook-Offs. Frances was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John and a sister Alice. She is survived by her daughter Janelle Jones of Dallas, sons; Jeff Sandidge and wife Brenda of Arlington, Gerald Sandidge of Payne Springs, daughter Faye Angelone and husband Tony of Little Elm, step-daughters; Joan Foster of Log Cabin, Fern Hunt and husband Bill of Sulphur Springs, three sisters, twelve grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, other loving family members and many friends. There will be a celebration in the memory of Frances from 1:00-3:00 on January 20, 2013 at the Red Barn in Log Cabin located at 14387 Alamo Rd. Log Cabin, TX 75148. Source: LINK
